Each setting arrives pre-finished with accent diamonds already in place, so the only decision left is the center stone — its shape, size, and quality. Because we operate independent showrooms across both Florida and Ohio, we carry an extensive selection of semi-mount styles alongside a full inventory of loose, certified diamonds, letting you pair the two in person and see exactly how your finished ring will look before you commit.

Our semi-mount collection spans solitaire, halo, three-stone, and vintage-inspired designs, each engineered to frame a range of center stone shapes including round, princess, oval, pear, cushion, emerald, and marquise. Every setting is available in 14k or 18k white, yellow, or rose gold, as well as platinum, and our on-site master bench jewelers can resize, reset, or customize any piece after your center stone is selected. If none of our in-stock designs feel exactly right, our team can also adapt a setting's prong style, shank width, or metal finish to suit your center stone's proportions.

Semi-Mount Ring FAQ

What is a semi-mount ring, and how is it different from a solitaire?

A semi-mount is an engagement ring setting that comes with all of its accent diamonds already set, but no center stone. A solitaire, by contrast, is typically sold as a single, complete ring with the center stone already mounted. Semi-mounts let you shop for the setting and the center diamond separately, so you can choose the exact shape, size, and quality of stone you want without being limited to a pre-paired combination.

How do I know which center stone will fit my semi-mount setting?

Every semi-mount is designed around a specific center stone shape and a carat weight range, which our team can match to a loose diamond during your appointment. Bringing in your chosen setting lets a consultant measure the head and prongs against candidate stones in person, so the fit and proportions are confirmed before the ring is finished.

Can a semi-mount setting be resized or customized after the center stone is set?

Yes. Once your center stone is mounted, our in-house bench jewelers can still resize the band, adjust prong height, or refine the setting's finish. Because the accent diamonds are already secured, most adjustments can be completed without disturbing the setting's original brilliance.
